Introduction
Judeo-Alsatian is the Jewish variant of the Alsatian dialect of German (part of the Alemannic group of German dialects) as it was spoken in the ancient Jewish communities of Alsace, France. Judeo-Alsatian is sometimes considered a Southwestern dialect of Yiddish.
