Introduction

Takuu is a language of Papua New Guinea. It is spoken in Bougainville Province, Atolls district, northeast of Bougainville, Takuu atoll, Mortlock village. .

Dialects

Distinct from Nukumanu (See: Nukumanu?) and Nukuria (See: Nukuria) and Ontong Java (See: Ontong Java) and Sikaiana (See: Sikaiana) in Solomon Islands, though very closely related.
