Vernacular

Vernacular The ordinary, everyday speech of a particular community. The term vernacular is most commonly contrasted with standard language. The vernacular speech of a particular community is the ordinary speech used by the people in a particular community, such as Chicago, Liverpool or Sydney, when this is noticeably different from the standard form of the language.
